The BCWA is at present into negotiations with the State for the up-keep of its reservoirs, Water Treatment Plant and its major raw water transmission pipeline called the Shad Pipeline.
The future of the facilities is dependent upon the State’s commitment back in 1993 to fund for their up-keep. In any event, and whatever the outcome of these negotiations may be, the East Bay Pipeline is more than adequate to provide the Citizens of Bristol County with all their water needs for the present and many, many years to come.
